I say! I mean to say, I say! Aunt A. is threatening to take Jeeves away! This is beyond the pale. I put up with her waving females at me, and making comments about how I ought to start breeding, even though the mere thought of it makes me shudder. Awful brutes, children are. Just look at that foul blister Edwin! Or my pal Chuffy's young cousin Seabury. It's a wonder they don't get strangled long before they break out in spots.
But I've got distracted. The dreadful news about Aunt A.'s recent threat in re Jeeves has me feeling rather shirty, I don't mind saying. Jeeves isn't even around to discuss it with. He went down to that Gany-whatsit club of his. I say, Jeeves, if you're reading this over at your club, come back to the flat, old chap! I need you to rally round with one of your corking plans. I could also use a bit of a liquid pick-me-up.
Well, in absence of my brilliant valet, have any of you lot got any brainy ideas for foiling the aged A.? |

What-ho, all and sundry! In case we haven’t been properly introduced, I’m Bertie Wooster. This livejournal thimgummy is a rather nifty invention, what? Imagine being able to talk to people by pushing a few buttons!
The dreaded Glossop female is being waved at yours truly in a threatening manner once again by the aged A. I believe a quick escape from the metrop. may be in order. I shall get Jeeves to packing my things.
Well, I must dash, as I promised Bingo Little I’d meet him at the Drones. Seems he’s gone and fallen in love again, as I gathered when he rang the flat blathering about some beazel he met – his one true love, his tender goddess, and so forth – so just the usual there, but I imagine he’ll be wanting Jeeves’ and my help in wooing the girl.
